Platform and Vision

  • I am running for co-chair of the Cincinnati Democratic Committee because I believe our local Democratic Party should be rooted in neighborhoods, connected to working people, and actively organizing year-round, not just during election season.

As a public school teacher, labor leader and organizer, I have spent my career working directly with students, families, workers, and neighborhoods across Cincinnati. I believe our party is strongest when people feel welcomed, heard, and empowered to participate in the democratic process.

  • The Democratic Party should have a visible presence in every neighborhood in Cincinnati. That means supporting precinct executives, building stronger local relationships, and creating opportunities for year-round engagement beyond campaign cycles.

As co-chair, I want to help strengthen grassroots organizing infrastructure by improving communication, increasing member involvement and supporting neighborhood-level outreach efforts across the city.

  • Working-class residents, union members, educators, service workers, and young families should feel that the Democratic Party understands their day-to-day concerns and values their voice within the party itself.

I believe the CDC should continue building strong partnerships with labor unions, community organizations and neighborhood groups to ensure our party remains connected to the people who make Cincinnati work every day.

  • Cincinnati is growing and changing, and we need leadership that approaches housing and development with both optimism and responsibility.

I support thoughtful development that strengthens neighborhoods, expands access to housing, supports local businesses, and encourages long-term economic growth while also respecting existing communities and maintaining affordability for working families.

We should pursue policies that promote investment and revitalization without losing sight of the residents and neighborhoods that make Cincinnati unique.

  • As a special education teacher in Cincinnati Public Schools, I believe strong public schools are essential to strong communities.

I support fully funding public education, defending public schools from privatization efforts, expanding student support services, strengthening special education resources, and ensuring every child , regardless of background or disability, has access to a high-quality education.

The CDC plays an important role in helping endorse and support candidates who understand the importance of public education and are willing to advocate for students, families and educators.

  • I believe good leadership starts with listening.

As co-chair, I want to help create a Democratic Party that is collaborative, transparent, accessible, and welcoming to both longtime members and new voices alike. That means open communication, respectful dialogue, and a commitment to building broad coalitions that can move Cincinnati forward together.

Our party is strongest when we organize together, grow together and work together.
